TownePlace Suites by Marriott Minneapolis Downtown/North Loop

Great hotel in the north loop district of Minneapolis. Cute rooms with full kitchens. They are a bit outdated but not a deal breaker. Staff was friendly and provide amenities for your dogs. Nice fitness center and outdoor pool! Very close to the restaurants and coffee shops and bars that the north loop has to offer.

I had low expectations and they were overwhelmingly wrong. Clean rooms with typical comfy Marriott sheets, blankets and pillows. Great location and a killer continental breakfast. Not swanky, but with the pool, a great hotel.

Words truly cannot express the gratitude we feel for Erika during our stay at TowneSuites in the North Loop. Our family was displaced due to a house fire and stayed here for a couple of weeks, and Erika went above and beyond to make such a difficult time easier for us. Her kindness, compassion, and genuine care meant more to our family than she will ever know. The entire staff was wonderful and welcoming. Steven’s customer service was also excellent! Great conversation, friendly, and he truly makes you feel at home. This hotel is lucky to have such an amazing team. We are incredibly thankful for everyone who made our stay comfortable during such a challenging time.

Location is unbeatable! Close to everything we needed and very safe. The room itself was clean and tidy. The pool was clean and a nice bonus to the hotel. Front desk service lady was not very friendly, at night however the front desk staff(man) was very attentive and kind with gathering extra linen for our room! Would stay here again.

The location is perfect, lots of fun stuff to do and cool places to eat around Downtown which is walkable from here. Staff is great. Breakfast was satisfactory too. The studio was very well equipped with a kitchenette and other furnishings. The hotel itself has a very old vibe (naturally because it’s an old building) and the WiFi is a bit slow. So is the elevator. Overall recommend!

At first, I laughed because I couldn’t find a trashcan in the bathroom. What!?!? It was under the sink in the cabinet. One of the bedside tables is shoved between the AC and the wall. No use of drawers… What I did like: The designs on the carpet and in the curtains. The bed was so comfortable. The location made it so we could walk to the concert we were in town to see #horsegirl. The staff were courteous and helpful. The continental breakfast was better than I had expected. Eggs, sausage, fruit, yogurt, make your own waffle, and a full oatmeal bar with lots of choices to top your waffle with;) It was a delightful stay for a quick overnight in the big city;)

I recently moved from Georgia and landed at the North Loop location as a temporary stay. The team is gracious and kind! When I have return stays, they book me in the same room to keep the surroundings familiar for my dogs. The grounds and common areas are well maintained and clean! Breakfast is plentiful and well stocked throughout breakfast hours. Thank you North Loop TPS Team for helping me call Minneapolis home!

We spent 4 nights and were very happy with the cleanliness of the room (including the kitchen and bathroom). Our window faced the street, and there was no problem with noise. The kitchenette was well furnished, though we did not use it much. The breakfast was very good.
